THE CLASS OF 1944

EDWARDSVILLE, ILLINOIS HIGH SCHOOL

I was a member of the class of 1944 and although I was serving in the United States Army at the time  of  graduation I had earned the necessary credentials  to receive  my diploma.
The Class of 1944 held its 60th Reunion in October 2004.  I do not know the exact number attending but it was larger than I expected it to be.  Because we are getting up in age it was decided that we would meet on the Second Friday of October of each year.

The 62nd Reunion was a luncheon at RUSTY'S RESTAURANT IN EDWARDSVILLE on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 13, 2006 .  There were approximately 40+  of the classmates and guests in attendance.  There were members from Indiana and Wisconsin present that I know of.  The group has scheduled the 64th Reunion for  FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2008 , 11:00 a.m., at  Fox Creek Country Club on Route 159 north of Edwardsville .  We hope that more of  the classmates can be attending.  Our thanks to the committee for their fine work in making this possible.
